Trinidad is our premier country for mission trips! It is the best trip for first-time mission teams as they speak English and the people are very friendly.
Trinidad is the southernmost of the Caribbean islands, 7 miles off the coast of Venezuela, South America. A population of 1.5 million made up of people of African, East Indian, Chinese, Syrian, Lebanese, Portuguese, British and French descent.
One of the best things about Trinidad is the diverse ethnicity. With all the different racial, religious, and cultural heritage, you’ll find it is like taking 5 mission trips all in one! It is like you are going to the Caribbean islands, India, the Middle East, China, and England!
The Trinidadians (Trini’s) are a warm, soft spoken people.
Trinidad is one of the best kept secrets of the Caribbean and is called
“The Jewel of the Caribbean“!
Teams can be involved in Evangelism in the Hindu and Muslim areas, street evangelism, evangelism in the prisons, hospitals and market places. There’s also indoor and outdoor crusades, house to house ministries, construction teams to build churches, clinics, orphanages, etc. We also have medical outreach teams and youth outreach teams.
Your team will also spend a day at Maracas Bay, a beautiful beach on the north cost of Trinidad along with a shopping / sight seeing trip on the way back from the beach. Your team will also be able to tour the natural pitch lake and see an active mud volcano. All of this is included in the total trip cost.
The renowned Pitch Lake is a lake located in La Brea, Trinidad. It is the largest, commercial deposit of natural asphalt in the world. Holding an approximate ten million tons of pitch, this natural wonder of the world and measures approximately one hundred acres across and two hundred and fifty feet deep in the center. If your team wants to see the rain forest we can work that trip but it will be a $15 per person extra charge.
The language of Trinidad and Tobago is English.
This 7 day trip is $600 per person.
This is a package price and includes your travel days.
The price does not include airfare from and to your destination. The trip includes a shopping/sight seeing day. The teams will fly in to Port of Spain and will travel to San Fernando and stay in the Mission House. Photos of the mission house are below. It is set up as door rooms and can hold up to 25.

YES! How Cool is that? If you have a team of 11 members or more, the team leader gets his or her MissionTripS.com portion paid for free! The MissionTripS.com trips are for the services provided on the ground in the host country and does not cover airfare.
This trip is for (6 or more people) The price does not include airfare to and from your destination. This trip is a 7 day trip with shopping / sight seeing the last day. To lock in on your dates your group must send in a $100 application fee. This application fee is non-refundable and is not part of the total cost of the groups trip. This can be paid by check, money order or credit card.
Trip costs include: This will cover three meals per day, accommodations, transport from and to the airport and transport on a daily basis to and from the areas of ministry. Teams will fly into PORT OF SPAIN.
Standard Accommodations – Mission House located in San Fernando area. San Fernando is a 2 hour trip from Port of Spain.
Teams must be prepared to minister for the duration of the trip. Testimonies, puppets, drama, mime, preaching and teaching will have to be prepared to communicate cross-culturally. Light to heavy construction trips are available with additional funds for materials. All teams are expected to bring project money.
Because of the sensitivity of the culture and the years of groundwork that has been laid for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Mission Trips LLC reserves the right to refuse our services to any particular team. The final say is the local pastors or organization that will receive the team.
Not included: Airfare, additional entertainment not included in the trip, additional drinks or food in addition to what is normally provided, soda and snacks purchased during travel or in villages, shopping expenses. The departure tax is now included in the cost of your airfare!
ENTRY AND EXIT REQUIREMENTS:
A valid U.S. passport is required for U.S. citizens to enter and depart Trinidad and Tobago. The departure tax is now included in the cost of your airfare!
Please note: Trinidad does not permit adoption by foreigners. Trini-Americans are only allowed to adopt if they maintain a permanent residence in Trinidad. Most cases involve adoption of the child of a relative.

Check with your airlines you may only let you check ONE SUITCASE for Free! DON’T over pack.? Do NOT OVERPACK! A suitcase MUST NOT weigh over 50 lbs! Overweight suitcase could cost $100 to $200 each and that is Both ways! Contact your airline for their specific rules!
